It would be easiest to say that I am first and foremost… something. Unfortunately, I had a hard time deciding exactly what that something was going to be. I am a woman, a Southerner, a golfer, and a writer. I am a chaser of faith. I am an “On Sale at Publix” wine connoisseur. I am a wearer of Snuggies. Perhaps most pertinent to this particular blog, I am a culinary genius. (Well… let’s be serious, that is a bit of an overstatement. What I mean by “culinary genius” is that I finally live on my own and by necessity must provide my own meals.) After a week of frozen dinners and cereal, I vowed to try out this thing that people refer to as “cooking”. From exploding lemon squares (yes, apparently lemon squares can explode) to spoon eating garbage disposals, I am finding new recipes and making a lot of memories.
